XMUT has theInternational Research Seed Funds to support our researchers on their international joint research.It has attractedbest quality researchers to XMUT for research collaboration.
In cooperation with our partner institutions, there are currently a wide range of active research projects under the oversight of four international research centers. Two joint research projects that our joint research teams has developed respectively with Newcastle University in the UK and Nagoya University in Japan have beenselected respectively into2014 and 2015 SAFEA Recruitment Program of High-end Foreign Experts, eligible for special national and provincial research grants.
XMUT also encourages research in collaboration with industry, and our established links with local and international industry partners allow us to provide such opportunities to researchers from both within the University and partner universities.
The XMUT-NU NewRail Research Centre was founded in January 2015 between XMUT and NewRail at Newcastle University. This joint research centre is committed to rail transport research.
